ISFP teenager with ISTJ dad and ESFJ mom
MBTI profiling/ analyzing the movie: LIFEMARK
An ISFP adopted boy lives in an almost perfect family composed of an ESFJ mom and ISTJ dad with an INFP Best friend.
The movie raises awareness about adoption. His birth Mom wanted to get rid of him but ended up reaching an adoption service
And giving him away to the ISTJ dad and ESFJ mom.
When he reaches 18, he is now at a legal age to decide whether he wants to know his birth Mom or not.
The latter is so stressed at the idea of meeting him despite her strong desire.
She doesn’t know how he will react and which kind of emotions he will hold. When he meets her and later on his birth dad, he thanks them both for giving him a Life.
The birth parents are surprised by this answer but it’s of course far better than a negative reaction.
He’s down to earth, disciplined, joyful, playful, amazingly surprising in his reactions to life situations despite not fully accepting yet being different from other kids as an adopted one.
Actually, He showcases a model of a boy coming from adoption surrounded by his incredibly supportive family. He successfully overcome struggles such as a brain 🧠 adenoma leading to a surgery and quitting wrestling, delivers a very inspiring speech about family and allows his INFP best friend to document by video every step of his journey including meeting with his birth parents.
This movie comes as an enrichment of the abortion debate being clearly in favor of adoption as a solution if the adoptive family is up to the level with positive moral values coming from faith or strong awareness of the importance of adoption.
Great movie to try to reach perfectionism in family management of adoption.
The kindness and hyper caring of the ESFJ mom is remarkable in general and in this movie in particular.
The ISTJ dad is an icon of dedication, commitment, responsibility, reliability and understanding of his son’s needs.
