INFP and arranged marriage in : What’s love got to do with it? Movie

Listen to this article

Interesting historical setting.

Part of This movie was shot in Lahore, Pakistan.

It highlights the “context” of arranged marriage of a British “modern” doctor of Pakistani origin.

It’s a very good contrast between the mindset of a British INFP young woman, not lucky in all her relationships, and the ESTJ doctor’s traditional view of marriage.

He doesn’t consider Love as a necessity in a marriage. For the INFP, it’s inconceivable.

Nevertheless, they are childhood friends and still good friends.

It’s fascinating to think that we are alone on this earth looking for Love when our next door neighbor can be this Love.

Well this INFP feels like this.

She ends up choosing him as a Lover after tumultuous events where both influenced each other mindsets until meeting in the middle.

I loved the social juxtaposition of two opposite “Lenses” of marriage.

Lahore decorations and filming sets are colorful, engaging and exotic to a British and western culture. So it’s quite attractive for curious, adventurous and open minded people who want to take a look at the Lahore culture.
