All nerds are intuitive people. They either have N as the first cognitive function or T as the first function+ N as the second function.
A cognitive function is an inherent process in a personality type brain.
Being a nerd, caring “too much” about Knowledge puts him/her in a social distancing and dismissiveness.
Nerds in personality types:
N doms: ENFP, ENTP, INFJ, INTJ.
T Dom+ N second: ENTJ, INTP.
So, six personality types qualify for nerds.
ENFPs and INFJs don’t look like nerds from the outside.
So people underestimate them intellectually and expect a lot from them socially.
ENFPs are influencers but they suck in one on one relationships with the same person.
INFJs are influencers, but they can’t tolerate one-on-one relationships with the same person if this person belongs to the majority.
Therefore, hidden nerdiness combined with social expectations creates a unique individual who tries to fit in socially all the time. Does he/she succeed? Again from outside, it can seem like it. However, deep down it’s never the case.
Regarding ENTP, ENTJ, INTP, and INTJ, they are not looking to fit in. They don’t care about it as much as the other two because they have F as 3rd or 4th function. The main reason for fitting in is emotional. Si, they care about knowledge even more than the other two but still make some space for fitting in.
